Lalin Mui Dharmaratne, co-founder LD Investments is a Malaysia-based writer, entrepreneur and investor. Lalin is a Representative at FasterCapital (a Dubai-based virtual incubator), and she is a contributor to SeekingAlpha (articles can be viewed here).
Being of Malaysian and Sri Lankan descent, Lalin is multilingual with fair proficiency in Malay and Singhalese (as well as fluency in English) and travels frequently between Malaysia and Sri Lanka. Currently an Executive MBA (EMBA) candidate at the Quantic School of Business and Technology, she has completed the Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA)® certification program from the Corporate Finance Institute, holds a Certificate in Capital Markets (CCM) from the Securities and Exchange Commission, Sri Lanka, and completed a a bachelor's degree in Information Technology (BIT) from the University of Colombo School of Computing (graduated with honors). Lalin is a past pupil of St. Bridget's Convent.
